Good afternoon:

I did not do the report last summer and lots of guys have been calling so let’s go for 2025!

Kings are in!

I will attach the AF&G link to the counting tower for you but it’s crazy but they started seeing Kings yesterday. This is so early because it is 5 days + from the bridge (where most of the fishing action is) to the tower above the West Fork. I have been talking with the guided operations and they have been hooking up kings below Sailors Pit for the past 4 days so it’s time to get down here and fill that freezer!

Tips:

*It's cold out here so dress for 45-degree weather!

*Make sure you have fresh and juicy roe. Don't show up with dried up roe and expect to be successful!

*Use the BLM easement at Sailors Pit unless you are camping at the campground because your camping fee gets you through the gate!

*Keep your drifter rigs pre rigged, bring pencil led and have your roe in mesh and have 6-10 ready to go.

*Bring a landing net! Nothings sucks more than hooking up a nice king and seeing him flip you the Fin as he breaks off!

We are providing shuttle service and of course lots of rafts for rent. If you arrive and forgot anything we have it so just stop on by! I will try to keep up with posting how the rafting and fishing is 2x per week. Wish me luck!
