Prince of Wales - Deer Hunting Advice

Been wanting to go check out Prince of Wales for years now so after a rather unsuccessful year of hunting, I have decided to give it a go for deer next month. I am no stranger to blacktail as I have hunted Kodiak several times but definitely much different terrain.

From what I have read, a mix of still hunting deep timber and calling in the clear cuts and muskegs is the ticket around the rut. Scouring over maps to have a game plan of areas to hunt but any advice would be appreciated as a starting point since the island is so big.

I haven’t hunted POW for a few years now but my sons and I typically always hunted on the north end. Usually from Coffman Cove clear up to Whale Pass.
