Yammy 9.9 remote start problem?

hi guys..getting the wooly 29 ready for the summer trips--all was going good(big engines purring away) until I tried to put the key into the remote throttle box of the 9.9 hp??....it wont go in?....yes, its the right key:lol:!!.....should I squirt some wd40 in there?..thanks for any help..i would hate to drive the boat into the dealer here--there is no room at that dealer to park the rig!! ..thx larry

Wd40 is not that good of a lubricant, if it's all you got go for it. You might try using something sharp to open the key door.

ha haa! as you can see--all is good!!:topjob:...started with a real small flathead screw driver!!..BINGO!!....all motors purring and ready for another pilot house season(year 4)of killing fish!!:lol:....thx again macg--beers on me tonight--see you in a few hours!!..larry
