hi guys!...we are back home now--WITH THE NEW BOAT!!!:proud:....it is now resting nicely in the gated storage unit!!....i now have all the permits/inspections done for boat and trailer and am good to go for the rest of the year!

.....drove the "Pez Gordo" up to Harrison Lake(near vancouver) for the shake down trip before we drove her up to prince george, 500 miles north of vancouver!....the boat towed great!......well, this boat is SWEET!....we should change the name to the "HMS Screamer", because the boat just flys(47 mph in the 1 foot chop)!!...if i had a dollar for every one who wanted to talk about the boat, i would be a rich man---wow, felt like a rock star!!!

.....have a total of about 20 hours on her now, and we slept 6 nights in her,,,one thing i learned i CANT MAN HANDLE THIS BOAT!!...by the end of the week i had a good system of getting to the docks and quickly jumpin gout to secure her with the dock lines,,,,sure glad i have that handy midship cleat!!.....funny, i thought i would drive her more, but found dock time fun/enjoyabe, too!( spent my time reading all those manuals)...a guy can really get used to this life of leasure!! .....the weather did pick up one day(30 knots), and i spent 2 hours having fun in the 2-3 foot chop and white caps!!..something i have never -EVER done before,,,usually i would run back to shore. wishiing i had a bigger boat-- but not anymore!!....would be fun to know what the baot could do in the hands of someone experienced??......,didnt fish that much but tried out the downriggers, very nice also!..cant wait for the ocean in july for our 3 week ocean trip around prince rupert!

........hmm, what else?...have a bunch of numbers scribbled down regarding the etecs and gas milage!.....have to say, at this point, those motors and the garmin electonic package that were installed at SUPER!!......will post the etec numbers when i get them organized..... larry(pics to come)

It is good to hear from you Larry, and that you are liking the boat. I like that back cover you have on it. I didn't see that in the past.

hi guys,,,,yes, it was nice to finally sit and sleep in the boat after all this time!......when we first got to the lake, the wind was going out straight to the marina, and i had following sees and white caps right into my spot!..i thought, oh great, this is NOT going to be pretty!....but, somehow, and i am sure i was on an adrenilin rush, i made into the slip and tied up-, but i DID hit the wooden warf!!.....good thing there was no one next to me--just in case!,...the next day, one of the tug boat captains came who watched the whole thing, told me i looked like a pro!!...i told him i got lucky, and that there was no way in hell i could repeat that!!..the next time i tried it again--in CALM seas--took me THREE times to get it in straight!...but, i am learning!...i did have a prob looking for an extention cord for the 30 amp that came with the boat.....i needed another 25 to reach the far corner, i did manage to find one that allowed 110 volts, so thats what we did!...i will have to shop for a cord online i guess??....anyway, good to be home and back!..thanks larry:)

Larry, That boat is unbelievably gorgeous! Looks like it's set up perfectly for Rupert too. Always wanted to discover the mysteries of Harrison Lake (tribs) and that vessel looks like it would take you anywhere! Congrats on your new acquisition!
