It won't take till 2007, but I'm calling the boat shop tomorrow and having them order a Suzuki 175hp 4 stroke to replace my old Honda 130 4 stroke.

A few extra horses shouldn't hurt.

I am just hoping the new boat is completed in time for spring bears is the Sound. Taking a season off has been tough! Having crummy weather this past summer sure helped me get through it, though. Gray, what kind of tender are you looking for?

1 down/ 2 to go...

1 down/ 2 to go...

Well until this week I had three things on my list for 2007...

#1 - survival suits
#2 - PLB
#3 - a tender

But thanks to an online ad I just scratched one item off my list...

I scored 5 like new survival suits.. Was not looking for 5 but having an extra or two for those special occassions would be nice. Gave $300 for all 5... 2 Stearns and 3 Imerpial.

I'm just saving and watching technology on the PLB...

As for the tender. I have not decided if I'll go with a traditional 65-80lbs inflatable that has a transom and seats or a lighter, short inflatable round boat with lots of floatation or finally a super light wieght Alpacka Dory used as a tender and a back up on float hunts...

Gray,

That tender is pretty nice. I liked the way it looked as I was buying it yesterday! :)

What kind of shrimp pot puller you have now that you are wanting to upgrade?

I have the one Dwewy's sell. Want one that pulls faster. It seems to take so long to pull up pots. I want the hemi version of pot pullers

Check out the gun shop on Tudor forgot the name in the mall across from the dog trach. They have a 45/410 pistol in stainless for just over $100.
