I can't commend the guys at WWG enough. The Kid fixed my mistake with my BLR and managed to do that without making too much fun of me in the process. Wildalaska gave me a deal on couple boxes of Scenars; thanks from one Swede lover to another. As for the cost to repair the BLR, let me say that you ABSOLUTELY could not beat it.

My wife commented as we left how comfortable the guys made her "feel." Can't say I care how I "feel" as I'm known to be somewhat cold-hearted, but that is very important to her and I truly appreciate the fact that she enjoys visiting WWG when we come into ANC. If you want work that is top-shelf and service that is commensurate with the same you should give Ken and the WWG guys a call; I'm confident they can cure what ails you.

See you guys on our next foray into ANC.:topjob:

Yup Top-Notch service from good people who are always ready to help! I remember the old days when they were next to Mr. Prime Beef.

Can't beat that, any time my wife enjoys a gun shop is a great thing as I will get to go there more! Also I don't know how I feel ether I guess so when the wife is happy I'm happy and when she's not I'm not, she's kind of my mood barometer.

So, now, just what did you do to the BLR:question: Inquiring minds want to know, or at least I want to know what not to do to mine.

Dude, anyone shoots the Swede has a place in my heart. Go kill me a bear with one so I can cure folks of their magnumitis:nyanya:

Lets not even talk about the fact that the BLR ws in 358 Winchester, yes can you say cool? Dare to be different!

I love it when guys like you come by..do ya ya think its intersting fondling every iteration of Marlins and SIGs every day? Or looking up whether Glock 21s are in stock?

I need to brighten up the day...I want swede shooters! Or the kid that came by today with the sporterized (in Europe, not in a basement) Steyr 95 mannlicher! Or the old Winchesters...or the bizarre calibers! I have to go in the back and fondle the Blasers just to keep myself sane (or perhaps it would be best to say functional, Im never going to be sane).

Its retro time! Arise ye old timers! Bring out the 38-40s! The Kid is a 35 Whelan boy, how cool is that!

My one goal for this year is for someone to come in with a Detective Special and, if their are no ladies about, yell back to the Kid and say "Hey Kid, I got a nice Dick for you" and see if he comes running.

I took the entire rifle apart to clean it after a loaded round came apart in the action filling it with H322. Getting the bolt/lever timing right is something of a beast...:shot:

Some things I learn the hard way.

BTW Andy, you should receive a package from me by Monday.

Yes it is, took me a very long time to get mine back first time I did it.

I was thinking it would show yesterday or today but it’s been windy both days and our Palmer Postmaster now suspends delivery when it’s windy. I asked what happened to the neither rain, sleet, nor snow motto and was told Palmer wind wasn’t covered by the motto.
