Before the Chiefs game I would have easily gone for Green Bay. Somewhere along the way their defense is crumbling. Defense usually wins Super Bowls. San Fransisco has defense in spades. They've had some weird losses and less than stellar performances, but I just have this feeling.

Im sticking with Defense wins championships,Ravens vs Niners, AFC takes it home!! But with all the high powered offense taking stage it is gonna be a fun year to watch the playoffs!!Remember a few years ago when the allmighty Brady faced the ravens a few years ago wildcard weekend?Ray Rice busted thru on the opening play for a touchdown!!

Pittsburgh so I guess it will be other... The top 3 offenses have very suspect defenses all being at the bottom of the pile. The Steelers, Ravens, or 49ers will prove once again defense wins championships.

I don't think the defense has been any good all year. They are taking a page out of the old Patriots book and just outscoring everyone. It kills me to see the defense play so horrible all season.

Teams with a high scoring offense mask their defense weak points. The Packers, Patriots, and Saints better take a page out of Tim Tebow's book get on there knees and pray to the good lord that there defense play better.

I have a feeling that the NFC championship will come down to the 49ers at Green Bay, and I just like the way the 49ers are built to win in January in bad weather over the Packers. I think they're less reliant on great QB play, and the weather will have more of an impact on the Packers than the 49ers. I think the Saints have a better chance of beating the 49ers in San Francisco (since the 49ers are a higher seed) than the Packers do at Lambeau. Weather won't be as much of a factor there, which gives the better QB an advantage. If the NFC comes down to the Saints and Packers I think it is anybody's game, with a slight edge to the Packers for home field advantage. I'd give the Packers a better chance in that scenario if it wasn't for the Chiefs game. I think KC exposed some weaknesses that playoff opponents will be able to exploit more effectively than the Chiefs did.

But, GB is still 15-1 and they just put on a clinic for Detroit with the back up QB.

Smart money goes with the Pack. You guys need to look up how many points thier defense scored this year. I cant believe the Saints havn't got a vote yet? It'll be the Saints or the pack for sure!

Had to be loyal and vote for SF with their defense and Alex Smith not making costly mistakes, but....they need a wide reciever threat to win the super bowl, and they don't have any. And their defense has not had to prove itself against a high-powered offense all season. However, home field advantage against the saints will be huge.

On the whole I don't think they can hang with green bay or nawlins on offense. I'm surprised no one has picked the saints yet, I think they will have a tough time beating GB in Wisconsin, but the rational part of me (as opposed to my loyal choice above) picks the Saints upsetting GB in a shootout for the NFC title, and it's pretty clear to me that the NFC championship will be the de facto superbowl. Gosh it's hard to bet against the Packer's offense though.

Only team in the AFC with half a chance against the NFC is the Ravens. Steelers and Patriots? ha. they'll have to prove it because neither team as a whole has earned my respect this season. Pats offense impressive yes, but no defense. and the steelers are a joke to be competitive without a healthy QB.

So Saints or Packers. But go 49ers!

With all the crazy weather in the lower 48 last year, I have to pick GB. They enjoy bad weather.

Why did you leave out Atlanta? I realize they are not feared but since they are in the playoffs, they do have a chance.
