It will be me

It will be me

My earliest has been May 8th. Last year we got one May 26th. Only because I had to be at work. This is in fresh water not salt.

not the earliest, but the biggest?

not the earliest, but the biggest?

For me, no king trips planned until Mid-July. Kenai R. 98lbs. Sorry, Les. Someone has to break your record.

Heard of a king caught on the Kenai around Potters but I did not see it to varify this. I was off of Deep Creek in the salt and saw several caught on Saturday. Most are still feeders. Did see one that was in the low 30's which was a spawner.

Kenai is real real low even for this time of year. Look up the graph on water level and see what I mean. About a third lower than normal for now from Skilak down. But, it is about that time so...

2 down already. I'm afraid it is not what you are looking for. Both caught on April 2nd in 45 feet of water over 230ft of beautiful Lake Superior water. Both caught on a spinner/ night crawler rig. Junk freshwater fish about 24" each.
