30-06 is readily available on the Kenai Peninsula from multiple local gun stores.
I've only seen 338 win mag at one local gun store lately here on the peninsula.
So I have to say it is out there if one is looking hard enough for it.

Carlile MyConnect will forward ammo up here. Sign up, get a MyConnect account number/address, and have almost any online company ship it to your MyConnect address in WA. Downside is having to pay WA sales tax plus Carlile fee. But it works.
My answer is pretty much the same as this. I haven't seen any 338 Win Mag but 30-06 can certainly be found if you look around.

AK ammo shows o6 in stock
I think that the screenshot in The German's post is from the AK Ammo site. I don't know where the OP is located but I think he will be able to find 30-06 if he shops around his local stores. The Win Mag is going to be the harder one.

My bad looking on my phone! It is nice that they show how much is in stock when you click on the offerings. .338 Win Mag seems to be a ghost for quite a while.

I've only seen 338 Win Mag once in the last couple years and that was a guy at a gun show with a couple boxes on his table.

Call Arctic Ammo and ask. I was in a few weeks ago and they had both.

I was in Sportsman's last week and the shelves were full. I asked if that was normal now and they said yes.
There was lots of 9, 10, 227, 380, etc. I did not see any empty slots at all.

Just about everyone has 30.06 now. Call first to save gas. Arctic Ammo, Bass Pro, Boondocks, Cabelas, Sportsman Warehouse, Three Bears, Wild West Guns. One of theThree Bears should have .338 Win Mag and Arctic Ammo is a good bet, too. Prices might shock you.

Yes, Carlile MyConnect. I have had a lot of ammo shipped up here through Carlile and its dirt cheap.
I would pay shipping from the place I ordered to Carlile transport yard in Fife, Wa, then just a flat fee $25 to Alaska. No Wa state tax.

I ran into same problem for last couple years with 338 WM and 270 Win. I solved it by buying components and having a friend show me how to make custom loads. He made 5 loads for each gun that we shot to find the load that resulted in smallest group size. Then I spent a couple days making 300 rounds for each gun. Each gun shoots differently due to a number of factors. If you want details PM me and we can connect. My gun shoots better than any factory load and I got to pick my desired bullet type and weight.

Shipping to AK can be done via FEDEX from a hazmat certified shipper. It wasn’t too expensive if you have a FEDEx discount account.
