What is this mushroom ?

I have a abundance of these mushrooms growing in my front yard in North Pole . Can you help me ID this mushroom ? image.jpg

Yeah, definitely eat them right away though because they can't be dried (just turn to mush), and they don't last long after they've been picked.

Fried some up tonight
Egged
flour with onion powder and garlic powder and pepper and parsley
then add some Parmesan cheese and fry in olive oil till golden brown
I would take some pictures but they are gone !

How we eat Shaggy mane all year around.

If you don’t process them immediately after picking, they will go bad. I use a surrogated knife to clean off any dirt under a Fossett. My wife cuts them up and puts them in a frying pan to remove most of the water. They are then put in plastic bags and frozen.



If you like mushrooms with a steak we saute’ the mushroom in butter, salt pepper to taste or in an Owlett or Spaghetti?
