Tuff Kids Outdoors is proud to partner with the Alaska Outdoors Supersite to bring you an outdoor oriented clothing and gear swap-n-sell just for kids. There's one guarantee with kids, they will grow out of everything you buy. Want to buy high quality outdoor gear for your son or daughter, but worried about them growing out of it? Plan to recycle it here! When you pass on your quality kids' gear you are helping another outdoor family save a little money, while recouping some of your initial investment. Help us spread the word. The more families get involved, the better job we can do bringing you what you need when you need it. Shipping USPS Priority across Alaska is fairly inexpensive (generally avoid flat rate boxes unless your item is very heavy). Join us in helping to outfit the next generation!

Glad to see this start up. I went to Cabelas and asked about weatherproof gear for my 3 and 5 yr olds and they looked at me like I was crazy. Couldn't find one waterproof camo item for my daughter to walk on the flats or in the woods with me.

Not camo, but I found black waterproof pants for my little guy at sportsman's and saw some options at army/navy in anchorage. May be worth checking there. Also, Amazon is great.

Cool thread!

I hear you! Check back with Tuff Kids Outdoors in the spring, we have some great camouflage waterproof gear coming for little ones. We'll be at the spring Sportsman's Shows as well, so maybe we'll see you there.

I recently (month or so ago) in a Cabela's market research focus group with about 10 other folks, and this was almost a universal complaint from everyone. So they can't say they didn't know.
