Thank you.If you're referring to a State Parks launch permit, no.
It's still the same this year: $10 per day / $75 annual. Harbor float and launch ramp reconstruction is scheduled to begin toward the end of September. Should be status quo until then.If I remember correctly, a season Valdez launch pass was $75 last year. Call the Harbormaster's office and they can fill you in.
Harbormaster said they got plowed out yesterday and had parking available(?).Still lots of snow in the parking area with many stored boats. Launch is doable and wasn't icy the other day. Just a few more higher temperature days and I'm ready to launch.
You guys got a Radio Shack?! That's crazy! They closed up the ones in Kenai and Soldotna years ago.Our harbor crew is working hard to get things opened up. It is quite a process. Still many people with boats in the storage area are not cleared around or moving out. Parking is limited, "unless" you want to part over kitty-corner to Radio Shack. That lot although not entirely cleared is in pretty good shape with at least 20 spots open. The weather reports this weekend say, "Make extra coffee and find a good movie." I haven't been over to the new harbor yet.
Yep! They even sell shrimp bait and firearms. You guys got a Radio Shack?! That's crazy! They closed up the ones in Kenai and Soldotna years ago.

Ha! Who'd a thought???!!!
Not sure. Not a lot of activity there that I have seen.Is easy freeze open yet? Did Mike sell?
I looked on our local real estate page and found nothing that he listed. Doesn't mean he has already sold it. Very little going on here right now for fishing anyways. Yelloweye closes May 1st with other rockfish restrictions. Military appreciation weekend is Memorial Day weekend. He'll probably open by then.Seems like he is usually not open until end of May...? I know he has been wanting to sell and felt pretty positive 2022 was the year...
