I bought a trail cam (cheap tasco, 56 dollars at wal mart) it has a video and camera setting, and a HI/LO setting on the camera. I will prolly use the video to start, but if I were to use the camera setting, do I have it on Low or High? it automatically takes a picture after 2 seconds which seems about right...hope so, cause I can't change it.

Also, how high do I hang it? I'm guessing about 3 feet or so. I will be using it by my bait, there is a tree about 10 feet away that I'll hang it on. I'll be using it for moose this fall too, if the opportunity presents itself.

Thanks, any other tips would be great! I have never used one before.

One web site that will answer alot of your questions is: www.chasingame.com If you click on "Getting Started" you will find all sorts of helpful hints. Also, if you plan to use the trailcam at a bait site, put the camera in a bear proof steel guard or plan on a bear testing it out as "lunch"!
