Those inboard generators are pretty slick, I know someone who has one in their F150 also. Very cool
Ok,,,,, and as Paul Harvey used to say,,,, and now it's time for the rest of the Story,,,,, my Buddy works on the Slope, and lives in Montana, he gets a phone call from the Wifey, she's run out of Gas in that NEW Ford Truck with On-Board Gen/Inverter Package,,,, seems she was out with the kids and their Snow-Machines having a good time, and Powered-up a freinds Truck Camper for a few hours she said,,,,, but probably much longer as he is finding out now,,,,,, she was 20 miles from getting back home, made some calls and finally got some Gas delivered,,,, he says that was about mid-night or so, as they were sleeping in the Truck waiting,,,,, it got pretty Cold, by the time the Gas showed-up,,,,,, anyway, you get the jest of the story...... :ninja:

I have the Honda EU3000is. It's a Jewell! Runs everything we've got (don't need AC) Electric remote start. My right arm is longer than my left due to the old Champion 3000.

Up-Date to my Post Above.....
Ok,,,,,, talked to my Buddy last night, and Yes he left Her the Truck with a Full Tank of Fuel,,,, ie... 30gals, so it looks as though if you have this set-up on your Truck, you will be using Fuel from the 30gal Truck Tank when running your Gen/Inverter, and if you are pushing 5-6KW an Hour, (7.2KW Rated) that works out to about 1-gal/hr, so when your out and about with this configuration, you better have some extra Fuel on board,,,,, so yea,,,, convenient yes, practical, maybe not,,,,, but at the added up-charge FORD gets for this, it doesn't pan out for my taste, just get a new Honda, carry extra Fuel, which it looks like your going to need to do anyway,,,,, yea, just can't see this for me anyway....... my Opinion. :ninja:
