Sent a message to our tech support. If he does respond in a timely manner, I'm emailing him too.

Sorry about the PM problem, fellas. Honestly, I'm still not very familiar with the workings of this new forum software. I'll try to tinker around a little bit, but I'm guessing this is something that will need to be fixed by others.

I sent an email to the tech support since the PM may not be working. I don't have the software permissions anymore so that is all I can do.

Thanks for the info guys.

@German...I am not able to private message anyone. The option isn't even available for some reason. Dave was looking into it to see if could sort it.
May you please try again?

Thank you!

TG
Nope, don't know. Have a theory that it's not a feature the owner is interested in supporting, so keeps reverting to the default of "off". Just a theory.

I talked to the owner when he first purchased the site. His intention was to keep as much as possible the same as before.

Understood. 'Twas just an objective assessment, based on what I know of his business model and have seen on other sites he owns....and while I admittedly find said business model objectionable, that's neither here nor there. My speculation wasn't personal, and i would hope no one takes it as such.

My son turned me onto Merino wool about a year ago and I love the stuff. My favorite online seller is Marino Tech for base layer items that are 100% Marino wool and come in three different weights, 165, 250 and 320. The 320 is really nice for cold weather. Their prices are the best also and most of their items come with a free pair of Marino wool socks which are also great. For boxers I like the online seller Unbound Marino Wool and for button down long sleeve dress shirts I go to Wool and Prince. It can be expensive but I think it is worth it. Amazing stuff. Marino Tech is also sold on Amazon but the prices are the same.

I’ve started using a brand called Ridge, boxer briefs, that I order on Amazon. I wear them even just daily in the winter. They have held up well to washing/wear. Seem to do well with odor. They don’t pill, and IMHO are far better than Under Armour. I will say that Ex Officio are not bad for full polyester. Also, for odor control, nothing helps like a stock of no scent baby wipes and, if possible, a good flip-flop/Crocs “bath” midway through a hunt.
