you been pandering for a caribou spot for like two years now......guy! My advise.....get off the dmn road already and put some miles on your feet. If you'd like to do so.......I've a decent spot I'd disclose to you. You will have to line a canoe up a certain creek, then float your meat back to the road. doable if you don't mind wiping some sweat off your brow. pm me if interested.

'Tis funny in all his pandering and not getting off the road he still hasn't found any caribou for him or all his kids.....oh wait maybe those game cams hung on the mile markers are paying off I seem to recall seeing atleast one, maybe two, maybe three.......oh crap I can't count how many he's help other tipped over ;)

Hoyt if I offer to go change out the batteries and cards a couple times will you like me hunt "your" spot along those mile makers :)

Hopefully this years unit 13 caribou hunt thread won't turn into another stupid yeti thread like last year. That is all.

I took em down last night, I figured I was wasting my time. I figured even if I had pictures of them today, they wont be their tomorrow.. or in a month.. the caribou have a funny way of wandering around and are always on the constant move.. .. Bum deal.. :proud:

Hey on a serious note, as I did last year, I'll plan to offer up a 10% discount on any and all taxidermy work for GMU 13 caribou.. Kids get an additional 5%. Thats Draw, or TeirI. Bring your Draw tag etc.. Several folks on this site took up that offer last year and most had their caribou back by Feb.

Bring in a Yeti and its free.. Sorry, I couldnt resist..

Does the Yeti have to be the one who shot the caribou, or can I just bring her along?

I too was up near Eureka 2 weeks ago, saw maybe 30 plus Boo's. However an hour later in the same area we saw none!! Moral of the story, these are caribou, they seldom stay idle and are always on the move!! They are there, you just need to be where they are when they are there :)

The EO has arrived.

The EO has arrived.

Buddy of mine was down at F&G during lunch and sent me this. Pretty low number and hopefully everyone looks for a pecker 'fore pulling the trigger. Good luck!

I may have called F&G today, they may said the tier tags dates have changed. Draw permits to start August 25th and tier tags to start August 31st. Please, email/call/text all friends with Teir and draw tags and advise to the situation. This is crucial.

Does Yeti season still open 10 Aug? should I be looking for twigs n berries before pulling the trigger on one?

Kinda bogus, their long fur makes it difficult at best to spot twigs n berries on em when on all 4's.. ADFG didn't know what I was talking about when I called and hung up on me...

Just got the word that the president is canceling all bou hunting in order to create a bigger riot than the one in FL. There may be a change in orders however when he figures out how many gun owners that involves. Lets see....100% :) ......wha wait a minute....Bou is back on the table boys!!!

The nelchina bou hotline was updated today. 2500 quota. August 10th is open to either sex then switches to bull only the remainder of the season. All drawing hunts are bull only.

I really like how the yeti talk transferred over this year. It kills me!!! I just wish we had more of a dense population up here in GMU 20. Would be nice to mount that sucker in the front yard all year.

What is the hotline number? Just got our Draw permits which say one CARIBOU. Is there an official EO on the F&G website?
