Congratulations! Nice bull. You just get back? Surprised at the amount of tundra exposed.... James Whitman still doing his thing out there, I see.

Yep just got back, Saturday. James is still doing it. He is trying to retire though. He's the only guide on the island right now and trying to turn it over to his class-A assistant guide Raymond.

Yep, a lot of exposed tundra in places, it made the hunt more challenging to be sure.

That's awesome. I was with him last month for my daughters musk ox hunt. Great time.

It looks like we had an easier time than you. At least there was snow covering the ground when we were there. Anyway congratulation! it was a hunt of a lifetim!

Yep, it was a little tough. We went 104 miles total on the snow machines, traveled a total of 9 hours, we had a long day, 14 hours hunting. Got home at 1:30 in the morning. We saw about 40 musk ox, 11 were bulls, and 400 reindeer.

You are right, a hunt of a lifetime.
