just in the last few days HUGE flocks of redpolls have shown up ... hundreds at every feeder around, along the roads picking gravel... on every alder..
just the spring change, neat to see them all here.
had a hairy woodpecker on our suet feeder for about 20 minutes this afternoon.

snow buntings went through last week.

We've had a nice sized flock of Redpoles hang around all winter here. They are mostly going for the Birch seeds.

I've seen a few snow buntings the past couple of weeks.

The ravens are obviously courting right now and the Jays seem to be too.

Looking forward to seeing lots more birds show up next month.

Bunch of some type of little birds have shown up now.
They have been driving the dog nuts as they are bothering him.

Glad to see the birds showing up been to quite.

Read in the news this morning that a couple of geese landed in Creamer's Field in Fairbanks yesterday. They are coming.
