Conceivably someone would be really stupid to attempt that.

IF the TASER gets full connection and spread you are looking at 5 seconds of incapacitation. You would have to continuously hold the trigger down for it to continue to incapacitate.

I guess you would have to be quick about it. The thing about the TASER is that it's not meant to tranquilize....just temporarily incapacitate.

I've been tasered and tasered others and let me tell you it would not stop a pissed off bear. JMHO.

What happened to the harassing wildlife law? What existing problem are they trying to resolve?

If you try to write a law for every fool in the world all you end up with is a lot of intrusive, foolish laws.

Imagine the skill it would take to stalk close enough to a large game animal to hit it with a taser! Probably only "true" hunters could accomplish that.
Then imagine the possibilities of "catch and release" hunting!!

With my luck I would stick the sum********* and the charge in the batteries would be weak or dead. Wouldn't that be a handful?
I am curious how it would work for fishing though?

I've learned to never underestimate the stupidity of people. I've seen 20 people throwing rocks at a wounded brown bear beside the road just to get it to move so they could film it.

Anyhow..I don't see this as being any different than catch and release fishing...but than again I've never understood playing with your food.

I pictured some dumb hippie dragging a hand tazer out to Kodiak and sneaking up on mr.bear real sneaky like for a photo op.
BTW, the bull in the vid does look pissed!

There are some legislators that are beyond stupid. About 40 years a Pa. legislator proposed a requirement for seat belts on motorcycles. Fortunately there were enough less stupid ones to not pass it. Personally I think we should remove all safety warnings and safety laws and let the Darwin theroy clear out those with genitecs from the shallow end of the pool.
