Does anyone know if you can hunt on Ft. Wainright without getting permission? Is Salchaket Slough accessable with a jon boat with jet?

I don't believe you can hunt Ft Rich without a permit and yes, you can access Salchaket Slough with your boat, I did it in a 16ft flatbottom and jet.

You will need a permit. I'm told that they can be obtained at the main gate visitor's center at FWW.

Yes, just stop by the Tralers on the right as you go in the main gate. I'm not sure of the hours, but should be anytime during the day.
