Same here, but KP bears. We eat all of our spring bears from PWS and they seem to be fine. No fishy taste or smell. Hard to beat the sweet smell and taste of the berry bears, though.
never hear about it, it's unlucky for youOn a spring trip we took out to PWS in the mid-90's, we went 4 for 4 on blackies. 3 were normal, sweet, and absolutely delicious, but 1 was super stinky, just horrible.
Just skinning and breaking down that one and all you could smell was gnarly-fish saturated fat. He had had a good winter and had LOTS of fat on him still. He must've gorged himself at the last minute on fish after being in the berries, who knows.. The other 3 bears appeared to be normal in fat, not near as much as that particular one. Go figure..
We've taken a buttload of bears in various places and off of the big Su over the decades and have never had one like that.Best biometric gun safe in this article Again, go figure..
Ya just never know until you get it on the ground and get into it..
