Ok, any and all questions you may have can be answered by "Googling" -[ 275gr 338 Spear Bullets ]- and you'll find multiple Posts from back in the day, talking about said Bullets, and their Loading Data.....

I used them fairly extensively in a 338 Win Mag back in the late 1960's and early 1970's. I took only one elk myself with them, but finished off two at fairly long range that had been wounded by others. Probably a dozen or so mule deer and a hand full of Columbia blacktails, too.
They first appear in Speer Manual #1 (1954) as a .333 diameter bullet for Keith's beloved 333 OKH and the 333 Express. By Manual #6 (1964) and the appearance of the 338 Win Mag, diameter had been bumped to .338 and the .333 version had been dropped. They were still listed in manual #10 (1979) and #11 (1987), but they're gone from #13 (1998). I've given you those dates and #'s so you can track down a used manual with data in it. Be aware though, that the charges listed in the early manuals were pretty astronomical, and I was never able to go as high as they listed before running into high pressure signs. The later manuals are more moderate and better reflect what I was seeing as "max" in my guns.
One thing to note though- They're not HotCor, or at least aren't listed as such in the manuals, and I don't ever remember seeing it on any of my boxes. That's not a problem in the 338 Winnie however, due to the moderate velocity (2500-2600fps) and high sectional density. In fact, that might make them expand a little better at the even lower velocities of a 338-06. Enjoy

If you got them cheap you did good! If all l'm shooting is paper and the bullet is accurate I'm happier if the bullets cost less than an arm and two legs.
Speer listed them in their #9 and #12 manuals as well. I always liked Speer bullets; still shoot a lot of them at paper because I often find them on sale. I've moved on to other brands/styles for hunting bullets.
