Well I’ll say there is a difference between summer and winter but it seems the there are more people around later in the year then in years past. I mean up till about 10 or 15 years ago sterling was a ghost town after August now it seems busy until the mid October.
"Busier" yes, because there's more people than years back. But as far as the kind of traffic that some people have to put up with, it's far from that. The other day I pulled out onto the highway from Fred Meyers in the middle of the day and there wasn't a car coming from either direction. Compare that to 5pm during sockeye season. Hell, a car has to crawl from the "Y" to SBS and takes forever! How ya been brother? Hope all is well.

Well that’s very true, SBS to the Y is bumper to bumper in the summer no doubt. Yeah never pulled out of Fred’s without a car coming! I agree there is more people but it’s not just town it’s river traffic as well, surprisingly I saw a lot more guides then I would have expected this summer and fall. But more so this fall.
I’m doing well can’t complain, just getting ready for Xmas honey does and what not. Been busy! How are you doing?

If you call this "traffic" then you haven't been to Anchorage. And I'll say this again, if you think there isn't much change between winter and when the fish are running, then you're kidding yourself.
I have no interest in anchorage.

There isn't much difference with the crowds. It used to be pretty much dead from sept-may and now its traffic and crowds all year, but than again I think more than one person in sight is too many...

I want to see the boykins always liked those little dogs
Yes, they are very unique pups, unlike any other dogs we have had.

What part of "the Kenai" are you on? You'll probably be disappointed with the hunting. There's not nearly as much game on the Kenai as one would want, and a ton of competition for what there is. The fishing is great, though.
We moved down near Kasilof. As for hunting, we'll get what we can I suppose. We still have to get through this nonresident to resident transistion period.
