Great read!

I agree completely with your outlook. In an era of "if it's not hi-tech it's not good enough" it's pretty rare, though. Here's hoping you can turn more than a few heads.

That's what it's all about, isn't it? I have to admit in recent years I've killed more game with flintlocks than the really choice cartridge guns in my rack. Just a whole lot more fun.

Yes indeed. My 50cal flintlock with 1&66 twist using patch and ball has dropped some dear. Very accurate and can put 10 shots standing at 100yds in an 8" paper plate. I love it!

And the less you enjoy, what they are calling "music" these days on the radio......lol

Another "Amen to that." When the salesman who sold me my truck said "oh and the radio.." I cut him off with "I don't care." Other than Country Legends in the valley, I haven't listend to broadcast radio in years. This stuff they call "country" music today is sickening. I have my iPod and there is nothing on it newer than a quarter century. I've also noticed that I am less and less willing ot tolerate other "music." These days, if it's not classic country, I won't even listen to it.
