My take is the author blames socialistic, corrupt dictators on death and destruction of people and resources of this magical planet - I would agree.

One only needs to look at the news to see how bad it gets. I saw a video on pollution in China.....WOW. Be glad to live in Alaska. A truly wonderful place to be.
