They have smooth bore and riffled, rifle sights and cantilever. I have used my sons rifled with the cantilever scope mount. My grandson has the same thing. Results were fine but my two harvests were at only 3-4 yards. Using Remington Copper slugs my son is confident out to 120 yards. My grandson took his buck at 20 yards also using the Rem. Copper slugs with his 11/87. I have used the 870 slug barrels for years and am very confident in their ability. I am not a big fan of the cantilever scope mount. I would rather have the iron sighted version and purchase a Aimtech mount or a B-square mount.
Did you use an 870 or did you use and 870 slug barrel on your 11-87? Thanks, and those are awesome pictures!!!
