Just wanting to put a silver trip together out of Seward this summer. Currently in Iraq and was wondering when does the silver satrt showing up there and when does the peak occur and how long it last. Is August to late to go?

August is peak time, BIG 27. They start showing up out at the end of Resurrection bay around mid-July (sometimes a few earlier), but they move in close as August approaches and really get thick in mid-August.

Make some reservation at the Seward Army Resort and reserve one of the boats as soon as you can figure out when you can go. PM me if you need help in what to rig, although you probably know. Ft. Richardson also has boats to rent but maybe they're the same source. Trolling for silvers is a blast.
