Shooting Range near Eagle River

What would be the closest, most convenient, place to shoot near Eagle River?

Birchwood Shooting Park, arguably the best shooting range in Alaska is essentially in Eagle River.

Just make sure you have a good set of ear plugs before you go there. I swear, everybody and their sister shoots a rifle there that has a muzzlebrake on it.

Don't know if it is listed under Birchwood Shooting or Audibon (sp?).
Either way take the North Birchwood exit from the Glenn, head away from the mountains and just follow the main road to the other side of the airport. Go shoot for pete's sake!
