OKI> where can I buy some RL7?
Just got an order in of 100 pounds of powder. I did not order RL-7, as I get few requests for it, but it is available, if you are willing to order enough, and wait for it.

As you didn't bother answering my question, I'll answer it for you.
The reason gas, groceries, and yes, reloading components "cost" so much these days, is not because the "cost" is up, but because the dollar is DOWN. It takes more worthless dollars to buy the same item you bought a year or two ago. PLUS, demand is up, but supply has only incrementally increased.
It does not take any more materials, time, or effort to make the same widgets today as it did two or four years ago. Actually, probably less, as manufacturing methods become more efficient over time. However, the price of materials has gone up over time. Just one example would be copper prices, having averaged about 2.70 or so back in 2020, and now up in the mid 3.50 to 4.50 range. Go back to 2015 or so, and it was well under 1.75. So, it's just market forces, and the devalued dollar that are driving component prices, not some mysterious "they". If you think that "they" are destroying handloading, be specific, and name names. Inquiring minds want to know. I've been around on this forum for a long time, and I have always spoken the truth, not rumor.

Here you go. Just get off your complaining butt and start ordering what you want. See? It's easy. Even a dog can do it.

Sure they do. Powder Valley will ship to Kent WA, and from there you can have Lynden or another freight company of your choosing ship it here.
What I was saying was that Midway, Powder Valley etc won't ship to Alaska directly. To get it up to Alaska, you have to arrange the Lower 48 to Alaska leg of the trip yourself through a freight company. As I believe I mentioned previously in a different thread, I’ve done this myself, so I’m familiar with the process. With the extra shipping charge and roughly 10% Washington sales tax tacked on, it's an expensive option for normal people buying comparatively small quantities of powder, but when you need it, it is an option.

Most of the powder I've been seeing around here has been in the forties. I think there may have been some in the low fifty dollar a pound range, but I haven't been paying that much attention to prices lately.

Wrong again, bucko.
P.S. It would be nice if you would write in complete sentences, with correct punctuation. No one else here seems to have a problem doing that. It would make you a little more understandable.
So, what is your deranged response now?
