And He told me they are doing it to all the brass!> I said ya BUt the plot gets thicker!>> So I was Keyed Up and started to dig and He was RIGHT> They started to Dump Federal nickel brass in the 7 weth and 257 brass>> and bought them dirt cheap!!! and then I went to the 458 win mag and bought 200 brass for a very very good price. I was keyed into those brass and that time so I do not Know for other brass! Yes and when I look at 128 bucks for some 338 rum brass> I get it. Enjoy

I'm really not sure what you are complaining about. You should have bought RL7 a long time ago. Brass is available, you just have to pay for it. If all you will take is PMC brass, then you are screwed, because PMC doesn't need to make your brass, when they can make more profit making ammo. Blah, blah, "some guy said" they are destroying brass. "Some guy said". Tell me a little story. Yep, that's what you did. Told a story. What was your point, anyway?
So, on another point, explain why the 220 Swift brass is 108.95 for 50 pieces. I want to hear what you have to say about that. It doesn't "blow my mind".

$108.95 > they must just peel off 100 buck bills every where they GO!! And shooting cost >they have no problem!>> Well I have real big problem and Im sure a lot of people have the same problem. Reloading is the cheapest way to shoot and NOW> even reloading has gone over peoples head in COST!> And even if you can find what you want> Enjoy your Ivory Towers Boys.

If you search around, you can probably find it cheaper. It is not a round that is used a lot anymore. So, starting up a production run for those limited individuals is going to be spendy. The higher the production numbers the lower the cost. Lower production means higher costs. Plain and simple.

You’re probably called a troll because nothing you type is clear or easily understood… I get it, you’re tag is “ranting”, so you’re most likely just looking for a reaction from people. I personally don’t understand a dang thing you type.

What can not you understand? Or you do not want to understand, People in the Hunting forums have really rose color glasses and when some one takes them off >they say NO and just puts them back on and gets very mad you tried to show them the real world and whats going on. Enjoy

Nosler brass is a bad metric for comparison. Since it's the most expensive major US brass manufacturer and is often even more expensive than the premium European brands like Lapua and Norma.

Maybe the title of this thread is "I'm done shooting because I'm inflexible and can't find stuff for my low sales volume loads/calibers." Some of us have been pretty successful at finding lots of bits and pieces for our loads because we're willing to adjust and be flexible (ie use different powders) or aren't stuck on using very specific low production calibers. The fewer units made and shot, the lower the quantity for availability, the higher the price. Midsouthshootersupply has 220 swift brass for $130 per 100. So if you have to buy your boutique brand from your boutique shop, well it's gonna cost you.

Nobody is going to ship powder to Alaska due to Hazmat shipping restrictions. If we were in the lower 48 then it would be another story. But yes I have also seen RL7 several times in the past few months at places like Midway and Powder Valley.
