Ditto that. Going to hit it up this weekend I think. Might try this week but still trying to figure out how I'm going to manage it with the new baby. Just took my older ones down the last 2 years, but with an 8 month old it may be a bit trickier. May have to temper my addiction to days when the wife can keep the kids this year. =/

walked around the creek today, across the dam, and by the mouth...no one out, and looks like no sign of life, the water was REAL low

Amen to that! Im itchin for fishing!!! I told the old lady that I might have to get involved with an angling club this year or Im gonna get myself killed hiking all over the wilderness slaying fish solo because I cant find other true fishing addicts to fish with. You got those who will come but you have to nearly drag them and hold there hand. Where are all the steelhead assassins and Red Slayers at. IM A BANK FISHIN FOOL!!!! LOL!

May 27th is when I caught my first king out of there last year. But folks had started picking them up about a week before that.

Where are the hot spots at ship creek? I could reaaly go for some good pointers. A google map snapshot marking the spots would help greatly I was soaking eggs early saturday at the mouth near the first bend and nothing.

There are no hot spots down there. The snaggers hang out by the bridges and snag kings by the rocks (it's disgusting to watch) The bait fisherman fish from the bridges up to the mouth. Just find and open spot and start fishing. No real strategy to ship at all.

would you like grid coordiniates too? LOL just kidding. There is nothing really to tell, go find the channels and soak eggs.....fish before and after the tide........just that simple. You can use what every you want but just make sure your line is in the channel they swim up.
