Went out yesterday with Salt Water Safari on the Legacy with Capt Steve and Todd. Got into the small halibut out by Montague and then into some really nice silvers off Johnstone Bay. Everyone limited on halibut and silvers and got a bunch of black bass and a couple of ling. The silvers were hoggs and probably would have won the derby! It was a beautiful day outside the bay and hoping for some more good days like yesterday to get out in my own boat! Saw 3 halibut brought back to the dock off one boat in the 150-180# range with one likely over 200# so big ones are still around.

Any news is good news...and your news qualifies as great news. I see they had 14' seas via the NOAA site today, hopefuly they wind dies down and the seas calm before Saturday.

Had a great day this morning fishing for silvers out of the bay, chartered, we ended up limiting, great day, makes up for the last week!!

Went out Saturday and met some nasty weather. The whole fleet turned in to a bay and caught some silvers. Just one of those summers where the so-so weather is hit and miss and the good weather was hard to find. Inside the bay was not so bad... I did catch a 12 and 14lb silver.

Sound like the silver actions has really picked up in seward.
