Going out of Seward Saturday to Pony cove with Fish House Charters Has anyone had any experiences with them? What are our chances?

Pretty hard do bad. You would have to either not be able to find pony cove or forget the rods at the dock to do poorly there this time of year.

Im on the NOAA website, I was told to look at Cape Suckling to Gore Point forcast, its calling for 5ft seas.

Is this right or should I be looking at the Resurrection Bay forcast?

Dont want to drive all the way and find out the weather is to rough.

Planning on Butt fishing outide of the Bay and also hitting Pony Cove for silvers?

Any idea on the weather forcast?

Pony Cove is located inside Resurrection Bay. Having said that, it is exposed to the open ocean, so the predicted forecast for Resurrection Bay may not be entirely accurate.

Also, if you chase silvers before you head out of the bay to try for halibuts, make sure you do not have more than 3 silvers for each member of your party. The limit for silvers inside the bay are 6 per person. The limit for silvers outside the bay is only 3 per person. If you catch your limit before you head out for halibut, you will be in violation. Just keep it in mind.
