I am wanting to try fishing the sag for char and grayling and was wondering if anyone could recommend some flies for both. Would a five weight be sufficient for char? I was also wondering what I could expect as far as weather by mid to late September? Thanks for any advice as I have never been north of fairbanks before.

i fished on the sag early sept last year and caught a lot of grayling, i used griffins gnat and some egg patterns, it really didnt seem to matter, the biggest grayling i caught was around 16 in, check the archives i have seem this question a few times, i didnt hook into a char, weather was ok in early sep, got a little snow on the way home in the mountains
