Rounds For Moose

Would it be okay to use a soft point on a moose? I'll be shooting a 300 WSM with 180 grain. I was also told a remington core lock will fragment inside the target..? What would be the best overall round?

Federal Premium 180 grain Nosler Partitions will do the trick, they have worked for me for years.

Core-Loks will work just fine. I've never lost an animal using 180 gr. Core-Loks out of an '06 or 300 Savage for moose. What did we ever use before premium bullets came along?

I'll be using 180 gr. Trophy Bonded Bear Claw for my September moose hunt in Unit 21.
