Akfly.....Mt View Sports has some rod building supplies as does 3 River Fly Tackle in Wasilla. If you are really into rod building and looking for a wide range of supplies, etc.. you will need to mail order them. I have been building for 25 years and get most of my stuff from http://shop.mudhole.com/ or http://www.anglersworkshop.com/cgi/aw/index.html?id=DLPdtYGS, Cabela's also carries some supplies...just depends on how fancy you want to get with your wrapping.
