Ok here is my problem, well not really a problem I'm just picky. I got a nice Ruger no 1B off a guy and it was originally a 7 rem mag that has been rechambered to 7 stw. The original caliber is still marked on the barrel but after it is a crude and not good looking STW stamped that looks like my 2 year old did it. Anyhow does anybody in town have a way to say mill off the caliber and then remark to say 7 STW or 7MM STW? I know guys online have filed or peened the stamps or put XXX over the old chambering but since this gun looks nice and is a good shooter I prefer it to not have that eye sore. I have almost nothing in it so I'm OK with giving up say $100 or so to have it fixed. I will prob just hit it with some brownells cold blue to get it close to matching but I think it would look better than it does now with semi doubled stamps on it.
