Hello,

I am planning on refinishing a stock on a 1988 Remington 700 Classic in 35 Whelen, in addition i am also considering purchasing a new Bell and Carlson stock for it. My question is what model (BDL, ADL, CDL) is this gun. I believe a BDL, but internet searches have come up short and I cannot find the associated measurements to match the new stock to the rifle.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Missing Palmer AK in Phonix AZ.
BDL and CDL have hinged bottom mettle, ADL does not . . . BDL and ADL are only different in looks, best way to tell is BDLs are always high gloss finish and CDL is satin finish.

I wouldn't do a B&C stock, they are a pain to fit well and real flexible . . . spend the bucks for a quality stock up front.
