Pretty tough to do on short notice at the peak of the run.
Look up Greg Brush at EZ Limit Guide Service. Good guys like him are almost always booked solid months ahead, so you might be out of luck this year. But you never know, there's still a chance he may be able to steer you to one of his reliable subs in the next two weeks.
Check out Fenton Bros. Guide Service too. Mike and Murray are top notch guys and good guides to boot. Like the Doc said though, the top guides are usually booked well in advance, but if you're only looking for one or two seats you may be able to get in on a cancellation. Good luck!
TRY ACE FISHN. I HAVE SENT MANY PEOPLE HIS WAY AND THEY ALWAYS HAVE A GOOD TRIP. HE WILL DO RAINBOWS OR SALMON. 1900 CAME IN THE RIVER YESTERDAY, FISHING WAS ON IN THE KENAI, FRIEND OF MINE PULLED IN TWO 50'S AND AN 80 LBER! (WEIGHED THE FISH NOT JUST ESTIMATES) WWW.ACEFISHN.COM
I have used Steve McClure for years, and have always had an awesome time with him. We went with him this last year, but it was 1st week of July and we all know how that was....but our boat still over 5 days landed 6 or so rats and 1 47, 1 60, and 1 68. I also had a 40 something break off my line.
He also does trout and that is a blast too. Here is his website link... http://www.alaskakenairiverfishing.com
Another guy to check out is Adam Reid of Big Reid Guide Service (he's also a board member). Nice guy who definitely knows how to put you on the fish. I 'm pretty sure he is full for the rest of this king season.
Hard to pull him off that tidewater in late July (for good reason!) but he is also an expert in the middle river fishery below Skilak for kings, silvers and trout.
If you are looking for something different and more exciting than sitting on the hook soaking eggs in the lower river for silvers next month, he's your man!
