Quartz Lake Report 26 Dec 2010

[Sapper 27]

Spent the day @ Quartz Lake today around the usual location. Lots of fish in and around the holes. Managed 3 nice sized silvers (about 14 in.) and 1 decent rainbow although none were really photo material. Played cat & mouse:fight: with one HUGE 'bow that seemed to be in the 22+ inch range. Although if I had landed him I was solo so a pic might have been difficult (although I always bring the tri-pod setup just in case!) Maybe I'll leave my camera home next time Same rigs as usual:deadstick shrimp in one hole and jig the other. Maybe trying again the coming week? Gotta love the military 4 day weekends!

Sounds like a good day on the water. I had a blast fishing that lake and catching a 24 incher the first time there. LOL crazy. I also bring a tripod on any solo fishing days. You never know if your going to need it. I'm sure you have heard this before... If there's no picture it didn't happen. lol Great to hear the report from the north.

Supposed to warm up to the 25-30 ABOVE, lol by next weekend, We can only hope.

Gotta be after this terrible NFL season is over with LOL...I'd like to get down there soon! It's off to Ft. Lewis/Cali for 6 weeks soon
