Fishing has been great considering the season. The last few trips with fellow forum members have produced! Just hope for little or no wind, it has howled a couple of times during the past couple of months. Definitely makes casting difficult when that occurs. I have truly taken appreciation to fly fish during months I would've never imagined myself fishing in this year. I definitely do not miss Ice Fishing, I'll take casting 1000 times to catch one fish over vertical jigging anyday, unless you catch one of those Harding Lake monsters of course:topjob:. Good Luck, let us know how you do. Bead heads and smolt patterns have worked well lately!:banned:

enjoy the combat fishing... maybe we should put a schedule up on this board or something, the only time I got any solitude on the Kenai this past year was when it was -15°F and strangely mid july... Last weekend the bridge looked like the sanctuary.
