Has anyone ordered an AlumaSki from McKinnon Marine? I haven't yet, but I wanted to see if anyone else had.

Some questions I have:

Did you order through Marita, or go direct?

Did they give you a build time?

Is the hull powdercoat included in the price?

Length and Width of hull?

How much fuel/range?

I'm wondering too if a guy could fab up a small "barge" to tow with a fixed bar for additional gear/meat. Basically a water meat wagon.

The hydro-trailler has been around for years. But yet you could fab one up out of aluminum too if you wanted.

I thought McKinnon built the hulls locally? But I could be wrong. The price seems a little steep - I would think about $18K would be more in the ballpark, but I can attest first had that small production business are expensive.

I had not seen that Hydro-Trailer! That's perfect! I doubt it could handle one large enough for a wheeler, but at least more gear and moose meat!
