We always did good catching cutthroat in beaver ponds...It's been so many years ago, I don't remember any time of the year that was specifically bad...dollies, as I recall, were plentiful wherever there were salmon and pools of water...log jam creek comes to mind...up near Naukati, as a good place for dollies.
