I have some gas (12 gal) I mixed up in June for my 18 hp jet, but have not be able to use the boat since, was wondering if it would still be good, or do I need to add a little more oil it was stored in a cool and dry spot. Ready to hit the silvers when I get back

good to go on the gas

good to go on the gas

Your gas oil mix should be good to go if you mixed up in June. Not sure exactly, but pretty sure gas has a good shelf life of 60 to 90 days. I'd run with it. More oil would just dilute the volatility of the gas. hope this helps you.

Modern gas is designed with a shelf life of 12 months. I know it sits in my rv and boat for 7 months and it Sstill runs the motors fine. I even quit using Stabilizer and never even noticed it except for the money I am saving:)
