Old woodstove

Just putting out feelers. if anyone has or knows of someone who has an old - and not necessarily operable - woodstove, please let me know. I am looking for something someone wants hauled off or would sell cheap. Obviously I am expecting to do some work on it. Thanks.

A 55 gallon drum works well , You'll need a stove pipe and a damper any way, but that 's the cheapest way to go.

How big of stove are you looking for, and what size place are you looking to heat?

I know you are looking for a old stove but do you have the chimney in already if you don't that is where i would start. The biggest expence of this is going to be the chimney and not the stove. If you do have the chimney already then you would also want to somewhat match that up if you can. Meaning 6'' chimney with a 6'' stove exhaust, if you have a 8'' chimney you can hook up a 6'' stove to it but should not do the reverse if you can help it.
