Octopus caught while halibut fishing down south (not me)

Well I know I have said one of my goal was to get an octopus. Some folks at the Northwest Kayak Anglers association posted this video. Some good underwater shots.

I wish they would have shown the octopus battle once onboard the kayak!

I did not see octopus on the AOTY list.That should be some serious extra credit for catching one of those.
Kardinal_84-------do you really want to have to un-hook one of those beasts ???????? Good luck with that..I gotta see that video.

My goodness a kayak those things are barely managble on a big boat where you can walk around.
