I am ready to buy a waterproof rangefinder for my sheep hunt next year.
I am looking at the Nikon Monarch 800, and the Bushnell Legend. I have ruled out the Leica due to budget concerns. Anybody have any experience with either brand?

Thanks,

Bryan

I have a Bushnell Scout that has given me good use in good and bad weather.
I think they say its weather resistant. Mines been wet and in extreme cold and never missed a lick. Its also very small and lightweight.

I have a Bushnell, no problems, works as advertised, would recommend, don't know about the Nikon.

Thanks

Thanks

I ended up picking up a new Nikon Monarch off ebay for 260.00. I think I would have been happy with either one. I tryed both at Sportmans's Wharehouse. The Nikon felt easier to use with the extended eye piece.
