Nelchina-Tazlina Float

Anybody done it before? Sounds intriguing.

Do a search on the rafting forums. There have been numerous trip reports of floating the Litttle Nelchina to the Nelchina and across the lake to the the Tazlina.

There's not much clear water to fish except at the mouths of creeks that hit the lake.

We outfit float trips for that floar and the real problem this year is the Little Nelchina.....It has almost no water which will make the first 5 miles really nasty. The main Nelchina will be fine but I don't think the Little Nel is floatable this year.
