Need flying help?

So I’m building time in my super cub. If anyone needs a ride or do some local scouting etc drop me a pm,
I can’t charge you for the flying just for half the operating expense. I think that’s like 30 bucks an hour roughly? Anyway. Keep me in mind love to meet some folks and keep building hours doing it!

Ya I’ve had my license since June. Been flying as much as I can. Working towards my commercial now. Goal is to test by spring for it.

Are Alaska Big Game Hunting Guides currently required to have a Commercial Pilot License........for hauling clients...???

You should have texted me, I would have flew around with you in your plane and could have played in both mine and yours.

Not 100% sure on that but in speaking to a few guides the main concern is insurance. No one will insure you for flying clients without a Commercial License

I can fly clients if I have 500hrs and skip the commercial requirement. But like said, my insurance won’t touch it unless I have my commercial. Then I can do it at 250 hours.

Brwnbr, if you ever want to fly out to my cabin with me (assuming you have skis), we could plan it out some weekend and fish for lake trout and burbot. Assuming splitting the gas isn't too costly. I can talk to you in person about it. You know where to find me.
