Decided to pick up some new molds from NOE for cast boolits.
Did some casting the other day and then powder coated them as my lube of choice.
Sorry these aren't the best pics didn't realize they didn't turn out that well.
The first one is a 304 grain .452 bullet for my 45 Colt. 452-304 RF-K6.
These were powder painted in red.
And the second one I played with is a 298 grain bullet for My .44 mag.
434-298 FN AV2.
These were powder coated in zombie green paint.
Although the zombie green did not turn out as well as I'd hoped on this batch.
I'm thinking I'll work on getting a little more coating on them for the next one.
Both of these will need to be sized before I can reload them.
That should go fairly easily through my Lee push through sizing kit.
They did pass the smash test though which is a good sign.
Hoping to work up some loads for these to use for Bear protection.
Anyone else working on any cast bullet projects lately?
